Community Involvement

Hank is an active member of his community. He is an avid sports fan and coaches his children's sports teams. Currently he coaches:

  • A Northwestern Mutual Financial Network sponsored baseball team
  • A city league soccer team
  • A city league basketball team

Hank also runs an internship program in conjunction with Southern Utah University which allows college students to:

  • Gain real world experience
  • Test drive a career
  • Gain communication skills
  • Learn how to work in an office environment
  • Learn professionalism
  • Gain knowledge

Hank sponsors a 5K FUN RUN for the Children's Justice Center of Iron County. For three years Hank and the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network have put on a 5K run complete with door prizes and over 80 participants the first year and the following years with over 150. All proceeds go to the CJC. The CJC provides a  homelike atmosphere where both children and parents may deal with the chaos that stems from the abuse of a child. "The overarching goal of the Center is to serve the best interests of the child."

Hank is currently on the committee for a golf tournament to benefit the Children's Justice Center.
